Western Australia Probate Cost 1: The Supreme Court Filing Fee

The filing fee is the court fee that is charged by the Supreme Court of Queensland to process the application for probate of letters of administration. For the financial year 2026-2027, the filing fee has been set at $418. This is a flat fee, and it is not based on the total value of the estate

Solicitors and Law Firms usually base their fees on the value of the assets held by the deceased. Our fee for obtaining your grant of probate or letters of administration is $1100, regardless of the value of the estate. Our $1100 fee for service is also fixed, there are no additional charges, even if your circumstances require any additional forms to be lodged.
