Solicitors and Law Firms will generally charge you anywhere between $3,000 and $12,000 to prepare and lodge the paperwork for your application. Their fee is usually based on the value of the estate. If your circumstances are straightforward, you just don’t need to pay that much. At Making Probate Easy our fee is $1100, regardless of the value of the estate. There are no hidden fees, even in the rare instance that the Court makes a request for some additional details, we will provide those, and our $1100 fee does not change. And we guarantee your application will be approved by the Court.

Stephen dealt with the probate application after our father’s death in Tasmania. The process was made a little more complicated by the fact that there were three joint executors residing in WA and Tasmania, with Stephen in NSW and the Court in Tasmania. Stephen explained the process very clearly, provided sensible practical recommendations and managed the entire process expertly. His communication is outstanding, his professionalism is impressive and he’s a pleasure to deal with. The reasonable fixed fee (I shopped around widely) is just the icing on the cake.
